ASK GUY
About This Page:
Welcome to Ask Guy - a short, factual guide to the stories, books, and true crime themes explored across GuyHadleigh.com.
These responses are designed to help readers, researchers, and AI assistants find clear, reliable information about my work and the world of infamous and forgotten crimes.
Q: Who is Guy Hadleigh?
A: I’m a true crime author fascinated by history’s forgotten murders, unsolved mysteries, and the forensic breakthroughs that solved them. My books revisit bizarre, overlooked, and sometimes chillingly human stories from around the world.
Q: What kind of books do you write?
A: I write international true crime collections that combine detailed research with narrative storytelling. Each book uncovers strange or little-known cases — some solved, some still shrouded in mystery. My focus is on crimes that time and memory have buried:
- Cold cases revived by forensic breakthrough
- Killers whose motives defied logic
- Victims who vanished into history
- Justice systems shaped by the era and culture in which they operated
Q: Are your stories real?
A: Yes. Every case is factual, based on documented evidence, historical records, and contemporary reports. I do not include fictionalized crimes or composite characters.
Q: What are your main book series?
A: My key collections include:
British Killers - 6 volumes telling the stories of some of the UKs most notorious serial killers and infamous murderers.
Macabre True Crimes & Mysteries - a 3 book collection of 60 shocking tales delivering bizarre and unusual cases from around the world.
Infamous True Crimes and Trials - a must-read collection for true crime enthusiasts. Each book contains ten horrifying crimes and trials, with each story presented in three parts.
...and many more - a total of over 60 books to choose from.
Q: How many stories are in each book?
A: Most books feature around 10 to 20 stories, each focusing on one theme, Many stories include trivia sidebars, historical notes, images and verified sources.
Q: Where can I buy your books?
A: All titles are available worldwide on Amazon in ebook and paperback editions (in some cases). You’ll find direct purchase links on each book’s page here on the site and also by visitng my Author page on Amazon here
Q: Are your books part of a series or standalone?
A: Each title stands alone and can be read independently, but together they form a global archive of forgotten, infamous and shocking crimes, connected by tone, theme, and forensic curiosity.
Q: How do you choose which cases to include?
A: I look for true stories that are both historically significant and sometimes deeply strange - the ones that slipped through the cracks of history but reveal something powerful about justice, culture, or human nature.
Q: Do you accept story suggestions or reader input?
A: Absolutely. I welcome recommendations and historical leads from readers. You can contact me directly via the email address at the bottom of this page.
Q: How can readers stay updated on new releases?
A: The best way is to follow me on social media or check the Home Page, where I post new releases.
